Circus Tricks

Everybody loves a well trained dog, yet the Australian public have strong opinions about circus animals.
In 2021, ‘Stardust Circus’ ended 50 years of performing with exotic animals when the company was unable to renew their insurance for this act.

In 2020 PETA conducted a survey within their network, claiming that 75% (of their control group) wanted the use of exotic animals in circuses banned.

The general public is largely uninformed as to the history of circus arts, originating on horseback with trick riders performing stunts in rodeos.
A circus doesn’t require a tent, like many would imagine. The tradition of performing inside a ring for a surrounding audience is an integral part of human culture.

The human-animal bond has evolved for more than 15,000 years, and it began as a working relationship with our adaptation into agriculture.

At Circus Tricks, we believe showing animals is valuable to our human experience in evolving with these creatures. Through education and understanding our ‘Dog Show’ pushes boundaries for animal activists.
